1886 Daimler Motorized Coach
The replica of the 1886 Daimler Motorized Carriage is handcrafted as a high quality four-seater Americaine carriage in dark blue. A classical hand crank starts the water-cooled engine ("Grandfather Clock") with a displacement of 462 ccm and an output of 1.1 hp. After engaging the wooden cone clutch, the Grandfather Clock engine drives the sprockets on the rear wheels using flat belts, a countershaft and pinions. The Daimler Motorized Carriage is equiped with two gear ratios with different sized pulleys, which can be changed while driving.
